The name “Adoro” means to adore in Spanish and it is also portmanteau of the names of the Valencia matriarch Adoracion and patriarch Doroteo. The Gallery-Museum is owned and managed by the Valencia family. It was opened in February 26, 2023 with a maiden exhibition titled Papelismo, which featured works on paper by renowned international, national, and regional artists from the collection of Edwin Valencia.
