The Iloilo Museum of Contemporary Art spotlights selected works by six artists at the Hulot Gallery.
Among the featured works are those by Ambie Abaño, Norberto “Peewee” Roldan, Grets Balajadia, Noel Elicana, Sarah Geneblazo, and Keiye Miranda.
The works are an in-house collection and show different mediums, including prints, assemblages, and oil. The paintings date from 2012 to 2019.
The collection invites viewers to engage with the evolving narratives of local and national artists.
The inauguration of the Iloilo Museum of Contemporary Art on March 17, 2018 not only placed Iloilo on the global map for art connoisseurs but also strengthened art education and attracted new audiences through its well-curated exhibits and informative art discussions. The presence of ILOMOCA likewise inspired budding artists to pursue fine arts and cultivated a fresh generation of art supporters and patrons.
